The World Series of Poker 2005 Tournament of Champions' is Mike Matusow. He survived a field of 119 WSOP champions. With this he advanced ahead to win $1,000,000 for procuring the first place. At the final table that began on Tuesday afternoon, the champion emerged after almost twelve hours. All of the biggest and the best players came to be a part of the final table. Each one of them expected to emerge the champion. These pros ended up playing what can be called 'text book perfect' poker. Both ends of the final table were anchored by tough pros, Phil Hellmuth against Mike Matusow. Lasvegasvegas.com reports:
Hellmuth was the first to go after they played three way for over three hours. Claiming some of the real estate between the two was the usually quiet, but equally tough playing Hoyt Corkins and that's the final three list.
