"Palms Home Poker Host" is a computer software program. It has been developed by Learning solutions company, Nexlearn, LLC. It has been designed to train users to host professional poker tournaments. This product has just made its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It has three video simulated "staff members". There is a Planner, a Director and a Bartender. They interact with users, teaching them every aspect of hosting a poker tournament, step by step. This program uses SimWriter, a proprietary simulation development tool. Casinocitytimes.com reports:
Representatives from NexLearn attended a launch party at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on January 5 to introduce the new product. Also present were George Maloof, Palms CEO and President; Cindy Margolis, who starred as the Planner in the computer program; Britney Spears; and buyers from numerous major retail outlets.
